Despite arguably outplaying Bayern Munich for a majority of the contest at the Allianz Arena the visitors tasted a 2-0 defeat in the second game of the Champions League group stage.

With Romelu Lukaku still sidelined with a thigh issue Dzeko stepped up for the Serie A side. Edin Dzeko inspired Inter Milan to a 2-0 victory at Viktoria Plzen earlier in the day in the group. Tomorrow they visit San Siro to take on Inter Milan for the third round of Champions League group fixtures.
